Message from the Dean
"We must dare to think 'unthinkable' thoughts. We must learn to explore all the options and possibilities that confront us in a complex and rapidly changing world". Such meaningful words of the Senator James William Fulbright have guided the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management.
Inherited from the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program, a partnership between the Harvard Kennedy School of Harvard University and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management (FSPPM) is proud to become the first academic unit of the Fulbright University Vietnam - the first private non-profit university in Vietnam.
During the past quarter century, FSPPM is proud to be the pioneer to successfully develop a public policy education program of international standard, which closely combines advanced theories and global knowledge with a deep understanding of Vietnamese context. The public values instilled by the School - integrity, impartiality, inclusion, accountability, innovation and constructive criticism, become a pride of the Fulbright community, as well as an inspiration for researchers and policy analysts in Vietnam.
This unique environment enables to maximize capabilities of leaders in public, private and civil sectors. It at the same time creates opportunities to initiate innovative and practical policy solutions to transform the society and improve our daily life. Whatever your background and career ambitions, the Fulbright School is ideal for you with professional, active, modern and high-quality learning environment.
In July 2019, FSPPM has successfully acquired the accreditation from NASPAA - Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration, becoming the first accredited public policy school in Southeast Asia. Committed to introducing innovative research and teaching activities in the field of public policy nationally and regionally, the Fulbright School is looking forward to welcoming you!
